The Academy has officially added its 2025 class of Fellows to the TWAS Directory. The 74 new Fellows live and work in 28 different countries. Twenty-four are women, and six are from science- and technology-lagging countries identified by TWAS.
TWAS Fellows represent the apex of scientific achievement in their respective fields, and contribute to the collective expertise of the Academy. They play a crucial role in shaping the future of scientific research and innovation in the developing world.
The TWAS Online Directory provides profiles of over 1,430 elected lifetime Fellows and 438 Young Affiliates and Alumni, early-career scientists who are given six-year terms in the Academy because of their exceptional scientific promise.
