TWAS-LUMS Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
Programme Details
TWAS-LUMS Postdoctoral Fellowships are tenable at the departments of The Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) of the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan – for a minimum period of six months to a maximum period of twelve months in the fields of Natural Sciences and Engineering.
TWAS-LUMS Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Application must be made on the LUMS portal for PhD applications (see Submitting your application below). Students must apply online using this portal, and upon selection, will then be given an official admission offer letter from the Office of Admissions at LUMS.

TWAS-TÜBİTAK Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme
The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) and TWAS have established a fellowship programme for foreign scholars from developing countries in the South who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in a field of the natural and related applied sciences in the departments and laboratories of public and private universities of Türkiye (Turkey) and TÜBİTAK Research Centers and Institutes.

TWAS Research Grants Programme for Interdisciplinary Research: Collaborative Grants
The TWAS Research Grants Programme for Collaborative Grants was established in response to the need of researchers in developing countries to link with each other in the context of interdisciplinary projects combining their skills and expertise. Under this scheme, grants are awarded to high-level scientists for interdisciplinary research projects. Each grant supports a collaborative project jointly carried out by two Principal Investigators (PIs) in the science-and-technology-lagging countries (S&TLC) identified by TWAS.
