Call for applications: TWAS-ASM Regional Workshop on Science Diplomacy
The Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) and TWAS are seeking candidates to participate in the regional training workshop on science diplomacy . The event was originally to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 20 to 24 July 2020 but it will be rescheduled to a later date due to the covid-19 pandemic. Selected candidates will be duly informed of the new date.
The workshop will provide participants with insights into key issues in science diplomacy with a regional perspective. Applicants from Science & Technology Lagging Countries (STLCs) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs) from East and South-East Asia and the Pacific region are especially encouraged to apply.
Candidates who apply for this call can also apply to the 2020 AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy to be held in Trieste (Italy) but - if selected - they would only be invited to one of these workshops.
