Al-Nimr is Distinguished Professor at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan. He obtained his Ph.D. (1991) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan/Ann Arbor - USA. He has published about 321 articles in different fields of energy and heat transfer. He was awarded the World Academy of Sciences Award (TWAS) in Engineering Sciences (2013), the State Appreciation Award (2021), the Khalifa Award for Education (2012), the Khwarizmi International Award (2012), King Abdullah II Award for Innovation (2010), Scopus Award (2009), the Abed-Alhameed Shoman Award for Arab Scientists (1994) and many others. He is an Honorary Editor-in-Chief of Energy Conversion and Management, 2025-Now. He was Editor-in-Chief of the same journal Energy Conversion and Management during the period 2013-2024. He is Founding Editor-in-Chief of Energy Conversion and Management: X. He is specialized in Thermal Sciences and Energy Systems. He has supervised more than 110 graduate students.

Al-Sulaiman (PhD, 1999, UK) is professor, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), College of Engineering, Oman. She is a chemical Engineer experienced in environmental engineering, with an emphasis on environmental protection. She has received several awards and recognitions, the latest of which were Khalifa Award for Higher Education (2013), the WSO Education Award (2011), First Prize of the Saudi Arabia Environmental Management Award (2008), Distinguished Teaching Excellence Award from SQU (2007), Environmental Advocacy Award from the Arab Towns Organization (2007), Distinguished Researcher Award from SQU (2005). Balakrishnan (PhD 1979, Indian Inst. of Science, Bangalore, India) is an Hon. Professor, at the Supercomputer Education and Res. Centre, Indian Institute of Science (IISc). He has made important contributions to Aerospace Electronics, Computational Electromagnetics, Language Technologies, Information Security, and Information and Communication Technologies. Banerjee is a retired Professor at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata. He obtained his BE in 1981 from the Bengal Engineering College (Calcutta University), his M.Tech. in 1983 from IIT Delhi, and his PhD in 1988 from IIT Delhi. He was a faculty member at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur from 1986 to 2009 and of the . B. Noronha received his BS degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 1987, MSc degree in 1989, from the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering (COPPE)-UFRJ, and PhD degree in 1994 from COPPE-UFRJ and Institut de Recherches sur la Catalyse – Lyon, France. In 1996, he joined the catalysis group of the National Institute of Technology, Brazil. He worked in a postdoctoral position with Prof. Daniel Resasco at Oklahoma University from 1999–2000. He has been a visiting professor in a research chair at the Ecole Centrale de Lille in the Biomass Valorisation Group at Unité de Catalyse et de Chimie du Solide since 2019. He is a category 1A researcher of the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and a researcher of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ), Brazil. Since 2008, he has been one of the Brazilian representatives on the International Association of Catalysis Societies. In 2021, he was elected to the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.

Chakravorty got his MSc (Tech) at Calcutta University and PhD (1965) from Penn State University USA. He is currently emeritus professor,SERB Distinguished Fellow of DST and INSA Emeritus Scientist at Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, where he also served as director during 1993-1999. He was also Professor and Head, Advanced Centre for Materials Science, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur during 1976-1982 His research contributions include a wide range of nanocomposites and their electrical,magnetic, magnetodielectric and multiferroic properties. He is a Fellow of Indian National Science Academy and the Indian Academy of Sciences, and has won the MRSI Medal, MRSI ICSC Prize,INSA Prize for Materials Science, Nano Science and Technology Award of DST, New Delhi and Materials Scientist of the Year Award of MRSI 2014.

C.Siva Ram Murthy earned his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from REC (now NIT) Warangal in 1982, M.Tech. degree in Computer Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur in 1984 and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from IISc, Bangalore in 1988. From September 1988 to June 2025 he served on the faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Madras. He has held the INAE Chair Professorship (2012-'14), Prof. Richard M. Karp Institute Chair Professorship (2016-'25) and also short-term visiting appointments at several European and North American universities. He is currently with IIT Hyderabad as an Honorary Professor of Computer Science. He has authored many textbooks, and published research papers over 200 in peer-reviewed international journals and over 190 in refereed international conference proceedings. He is a recipient of Best Ph.D. Thesis Award from IISc, INSA Medal for Young Scientists, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Research Award, IBM (USA) Real-Time Innovation Award, Erasmus Mundus Faculty Research Fellowship, Sir JC Bose Fellowship (2016-'26) and several Best Paper Awards. He is an elected Fellow of IEEE, USA; TWAS, Italy; INSA, India; NASI, India and INAE, India.

Chen is an expert in control theory at the Institute of Systems Science, AMSS, of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in Beijing. His research interests are mainly in stochastic systems, including system identification, adaptive control, and stochastic approximation and its applications to systems, control, and signal processing. In addition to his research, he is also active in writing educative reviews and monographs. He has authored/co-authored more than 200 journal papers and the following four monographs: Recursive Identification and Parameter Estimation, Stochastic Approximation and its Applications, Identification and Stochastic Adaptive Control, and Recursive Estimation and Control for Stochastic Systems. Guanrong Chen is the Shun Hing Education and Charity Fund Chair Professor of Engineering and the Founding Director of the Centre for Complexity and Complex Networks at the City University of Hong Kong. He was elected IEEE Fellow in 1997, received the State Natural Science Awards of China in 2008, 2012 and 2016 respectively, awarded the 2011 Euler Gold Medal from Russia, and conferred Honorary Doctor Degrees by the Saint Petersburg State University, Russia in 2011 and by the University of Normandy, France in 2014. Dezotti (DSc, 1992, University of Campinas, Brazil) is Professor at COPPE, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She received more than 30 awards, among which the COPPE Giulio Massarani Award - Academic Merit by COPPE/UFRJ (2010), in recognition of her scientific production of the highest level. She was awarded four times as Scientist of Our State from the Amparo Research Foundation of State of Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ), Brazil. Djeffal is professor, University of Batna 2, Batna, Algeria. His contributions to materials science, solid-state devices and artificial intelligence (AI) have gained substantial research acclaim in the field of electronic device modeling and fabrication, specifically in the area of development of new high-performance and low cost microelectronic devices for renewable energy and environmental sensing applications, as evidenced by the number of citations for his published papers in a short span of time. In the context of microelectronic devices for renewable energy and environmental sensing applications, Djeffal has successfully developed new approaches and design techniques of microelectronic devices using soft-computing and AI-based methods. These approaches are now widely used by several scientific centers. He has published more than 320 journal articles and conference papers and is the author of some books and book-chapters in the field of photovoltaic devices/environmental sensors and soft-computing. Prof. Adnan Enshassi is a Distinguished Professor at IUG and a Visiting Professor at TU Berlin. He was Chair of Civil Eng. and Dean of Eng. at IUG. He holds a Ph.D. (Liverpool), M.Sc. (Loughborough), and B.Sc. (Suez Canal). He is a Fellow of TWAS and the Palestinian Academy, and a member of ASCE and CIOB. He has 250+ publications. His research includes post-war reconstruction, disaster management, circular economy, OSH, sustainability, education, and procurement. He has received IUG Gold Medals, Humboldt, Fulbright, DFG, DAAD, OeAD, and British Council fellowships. He has been a Visiting Professor in the US, Germany, Austria, and the UK, an advisor to the Palestinian Ministry of Housing and PECDAR, and has collaborated with the World Bank, UNDP, UNRWA, WHO, USAID, UNESCO, and ILO. Fotuhi-Firuzabad obtained his BSc and MSc degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology and Tehran University in 1986 and 1989 respectively, and MSc and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1993 and 1997 respectively. He is a professor of electrical engineering at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. His research interests include power system reliability, distributed renewable generation, demand response and smart grids. His scientific activities include more than 700 papers, and supervising more than 130 master's and doctoral theses. He is the recipient of several national and international awards including: World Intellectual Property Organization Award for the Outstanding Inventor (2003), and Probabilistic Methods Applied to Power Systems (PMAPS) International Society Merit Award in 2016. Fotuhi-Firuzabad is a visiting professor at Aalto University, Finland. He serves as the Editor-In-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid from Nov. 2024. Govindarajan is a senior professor at the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Bengaluru, India, whose research area is fluid dynamics. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and a PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, USA. Before joining TIFR, she worked at the National Aerospace Laboratories and in the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research. She is an associate editor of Physical Review Fluids, serves on the editorial committee of Annual Review of Fluid Mechanics, and has served on the editorial boards of the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Physical Review Letters, and Physics of Fluids. In addition to being a TWAS Fellow, she is a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Sciences, India, the Indian National Science Academy, and the American Physical Society.

Dr. Hu is currently Chair Professor of Mechanics with Beijing Institute of Technology, and Presidium Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He used to be President of Beijing Institute of Technology (2007-2017), President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics of Aeronautics (2001-2007), Professor of Mechanics with that university (1994-2007), and Humboldt Research Fellow with University of Stuttgart (1992-94). Hussain is professor in the electrical engineering department at Kuwait University in Safat, Kuwait. He has done significant work in advancing the emerging technology, utrawide band impulse radar and radio communications, through basic design principles, and array beam forming and self-steering array antenna systems. In addition, he has also provided solutions to modified Maxwell equations for signals. He is a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award and the Kuwait Prize for the Advancement of Science.
